What we actually cover here
Zoo Atlanta is the zoo in Grant Park. Members' evenings, seasonal events and the habitat construction projects that run year round.
To be straight about it: the venue has its own restrooms and its own vendor arrangements, and we are not one of them. The calls we take about this part of town are from contractors working the surrounding blocks, production companies with a unit base nearby, and organizers running something on adjacent property that has no plumbing of its own.
The practical constraints here are access and timing rather than the units themselves. Deliveries in this part of the metro get scheduled around traffic and around whatever load-in window the block allows, which is a conversation worth having a few days out rather than the morning of.
What normally goes out
- Standard units for crew and back-of-house use
- A hand-wash station wherever food or materials are handled
- An accessible unit for anything open to the public
- A restroom trailer where the event is hospitality-facing and there is power
Questions
Working near Zoo Atlanta
Do you deliver inside Zoo Atlanta?
No. Venues of this size run their own facilities and their own approved vendors. What we cover is the work around them - contractor crews, production units, staging areas and private events on adjacent property.
Can you serve an event on nearby streets or lots?
Yes, subject to whatever permit that street or lot requires. Tell us which lot and we will talk through access, because the constraint is almost always the route in rather than the units.
How far ahead should a Downtown delivery be booked?
For anything in this part of the city, as much as you can give. Downtown and Midtown deliveries are scheduled around traffic windows rather than dropped in whenever.
What units suit crew work?
Standard units and a hand-wash station covers most crew and production setups. Add an accessible unit if the site is open to the public.
